Job summary

Smiths News is recruiting a Merchandiser in Nottingham on a flexible, part-time contract with an hourly rate of £14.24 (including Holiday Pay). Travel time and mileage are payable if eligible, and an allowance may apply.

You will own your territory, managing POS placement, stock replenishment and audits, while building strong relationships with store staff. A full UK driving licence and use of the vehicle are required, with average 5–20 hours per week available.

About the role:

As an Instore Merchandiser, you’ll bring products to life out in the world on the shop floor. You’ll own your territory, taking care of point-of-sale placement to stock replenishment and auditing. You’ll take pride in first-class standards, creating and maintaining visually impactful displays, and building strong relationships with store colleagues and managers. You’ll be the person who keeps everything in order, ensuring that stock is replenished and that displays stay on-brand. You’ll take charge of your own cost-effective journey plan and make every visit count. If you’re someone who thrives on autonomy and loves to engage with others, this role is for you.

Previous Merchandising experience would be advantageous but not mandatory. However, you will need:
