Job description

Wax London is a contemporary menswear brand making great wearable clothes with character, positioned as the entry point to premium menswear. We sell through a fast-growing global website (UK, US and rest of world), seven stores (four in London, one in Leeds and two concessions) and a growing UK and international wholesale business, and we're opening new stores at home and abroad.

The role

This is a chance to shape how a growing brand trades. You'll own forecasting, trading and margin across ecommerce, retail and wholesale, and decide how stock moves between our UK and US warehouses, with a third on the way. You'll lead a Junior Merchandiser and help modernise how the team works, including through AI and automation.

The Role
  • Full Time | Hybrid | Office in Camden Town
  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience
  • Perks including staff discount and summer hours
  • 26 days annual leave + bank holidays
What you'll do
  • Own seasonal sales, stock and intake forecasts across all channels, using WSSI, line flow and OTB.
  • Lead day-to-day trading, making clear stock and pricing calls on opportunities and risks.
  • Own markdown and promotion strategy to protect and grow buying-in and achieved margin.
  • Plan stock across territories so the right product is in the right market at the right time.
  • Line-manage and develop the Junior Merchandiser, who looks after wholesale, dropship and in-season ATS.
  • Present weekly trading reports by territory to the Head of Merchandising and senior team.
  • Shape ranges and pricing with Buying and Design, and represent merchandising at trade meetings and range reviews.
  • Improve our systems, tools and processes, including using AI to forecast, report and decide better.
About you
  • Around 6 years in merchandising, with real ownership of forecasting, trading, stock and margin – ideally in ecommerce menswear or contemporary fashion.
  • Experience managing or mentoring a junior team member.
  • Experience managing stock across multiple warehouses or territories is a strong plus.
  • Strong analytical and advanced Excel skills, and confident turning data into decisions.
  • A genuine interest in new systems and AI, and the drive to modernise how a team works.
  • A commercial product eye and a real interest in menswear.
  • A credible communicator who can influence senior stakeholders.
  • Happy in a growing brand where processes are still evolving and ownership matters.
