Job summary

Wax London, a contemporary menswear brand, is seeking a Senior Merchandiser to own forecasting, trading and margin across ecommerce, retail and wholesale. You will manage stock movement across UK and US warehouses and line-manage a Junior Merchandiser as the team grows.

You will shape ranges and pricing with Buying and Design, present weekly territory reports to leadership, and drive improvements through AI-driven forecasting and modernised processes.

Qualifications

• 6 years in merchandising with ownership of forecasting, trading, stock and margin.
• Experience mentoring a junior team member.
• Experience managing stock across warehouses or territories.
• Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel.
• Interest in AI and modernising processes.
• Commercial eye for menswear.

Responsibilities

• Own seasonal sales, stock and intake forecasts across all channels.
• Lead day-to-day trading with stock and pricing calls on opportunities and risks.
• Own markdown and promotion strategy to protect and grow buying-in and achieved margin.
• Plan stock across territories so the right product is in the right market at the right time.
• Line-manage and develop the Junior Merchandiser, who looks after wholesale, dropship and in-season ATS.
• Present weekly trading reports by territory to the Head of Merchandising and senior team.
• Shape ranges and pricing with Buying and Design, and represent merchandising at trade meetings and range reviews.
• Improve our systems, tools and processes, including using AI to forecast, report and decide better.
