Job summary

Kier Group plc. is seeking an MEP Technical Supervisor to join the Rail team, overseeing mechanical and electrical installations on construction projects.

You will ensure quality, safety and regulatory compliance as the on-site client representative, coordinating with subcontractors to achieve design intent. The role requires extensive M&E building services experience, relevant testing and commissioning qualifications, and a solid understanding of health & safety regulations.

Qualifications

• M&E building services experience including inspection, testing and commissioning.
• Strong knowledge of building regulations, standards and health & safety requirements.
• Experience as on-site representative ensuring works meet standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect M&E/E&P and SISS installations against drawings, specs and industry standards.
• Conduct routine and ad hoc inspections ensuring health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Maintain detailed site records: inspection reports, site instructions, progress photos.
• Oversee and witness testing and commissioning to verify system performance.
• Act as liaison between Construction Responsible Engineer and subcontractors to ensure coordination.
