Job summary

Our client in Motherwell, a leading Tier 1 Building & Construction firm, seeks an experienced Building Services Manager (or Senior) to deliver MEP services from pre-construction to handover across projects in Scotland. You"ll manage mechanical, electrical and public health packages, coordinating with teams, consultants and subcontractors.

The role requires strong knowledge of Building Regulations, energy compliance, and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in Building Services, MEP or Building Services Engineering within construction.
• HNC/HND/degree or equivalent in Building Services/MEP.
• Strong knowledge of Building Regulations, energy compliance and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health services across multiple projects.
• Coordinate MEP activities from pre-construction through installation, commissioning and handover.
• Review designs and subcontractor proposals for compliance with project specifications.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and implement solutions.
• Lead coordination and commissioning meetings with internal teams, consultants and subcontractors.
• Carry out site inspections to ensure quality, safety and compliance.
• Support testing, commissioning and client demonstrations prior to completion.
• Ensure regulations and employer requirements are met throughout delivery.
• Assist with technical input during tender stages.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners.
