HS2 Ltd. seeks an experienced MEP Architectural Package Engineer based in Birmingham to coordinate MEP and architectural interfaces across the project lifecycle. The role requires coordinating services, managing builder's work and ensuring delivery aligned with programme objectives.
You will review drawings and BIM models, coordinate specialist subcontractors, and maintain ISO 19650 compliance while supporting design management and package engineering activities.

MEP Architectural Package Engineer
Based in Birmingham - the Central Region runs from the east of Birmingham into the city centre, comprising Sublot Delta, 1B, 4 and 5S. More than 50% of the structures within IPT Area North are located in the Central Region. This region, which covers a complex urban environment, also includes the 3.5 mile twin bore Bromford Tunnel. It also includes Interchange Station, as well as crossing three major highways (A45, M6 and M42).
The MEP Architectural Package Engineer is responsible for coordinating and managing the interfaces between Mechanical, Electrical, Public Health (MEP) services and architectural works across the project lifecycle. The role ensures architectural packages and MEP installations are fully coordinated, integrated, and delivered in accordance with project requirements, programme objectives, quality standards, and client expectations. This includes managing builder's work requirements, service penetrations, specialist architectural finishes, ceilings, partitions, risers, plant spaces, and commissioning access requirements.
