Job summary

Falcon Green are seeking an experienced MEP Lead to manage the mechanical, electrical and public health packages on a major hyperscale data centre project in Northumberland. You will work with the Project Director, design teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to deliver safely, on programme, and within budget.

The candidate will have a strong track record delivering mission critical or large-scale projects, with excellent coordination, communication and leadership skills to drive

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Building Services engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as MEP Lead, Senior MEP Manager, or MEP Project Manager on large-scale projects.
• Experience delivering data centre, mission critical, pharmaceutical, industrial, or large commercial schemes.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, testing, commissioning and handover.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of all Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health packages across the project.
• Manage MEP subcontractors, ensuring work aligns with programme, budget and quality.
• Coordinate with design teams to resolve clashes and design changes.
• Develop and monitor short- and long-term MEP programme milestones.
• Oversee procurement and timely delivery of MEP equipment and plant.
• Collaborate with commissioning team on testing, handover strategies.
• Promote health and safety standards across all MEP activities.
• Review submittals, RFIs, method statements and commissioning docs.
• Chair MEP coordination meetings with stakeholders and client reps.
• Monitor progress, report risks and opportunities to senior management.
• Ensure installations comply with specs, standards, and client requirements.
• Support close-out activities, including O&M manuals and final handover docs.
