Job summary

Linear Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to join a major data centre project in the North East of England. This permanent role offers leadership of the mechanical, electrical and public health services, delivering safely, on programme, within budget and to quality standards.

You will lead MEP installation, coordinate subcontractors and stakeholders, manage programme and progress, ensure design compliance, and drive H&S and quality across the site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an MEP Project Manager or Senior MEP professional.
• Experience delivering major construction or data centre projects.
• Comprehensive understanding of mechanical and electrical building services.
• Excellent project management, coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple contractors and stakeholders effectively.
• Strong knowledge of construction programmes, quality and H&S requirements.
• Proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage MEP installation and delivery across the project.
• Coordinate MEP subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and project stakeholders.
• Manage programme, progress, quality and commercial performance.
• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with design, specifications and project requirements.
• Drive coordination between mechanical, electrical and other construction disciplines.
• Manage inspections, testing, commissioning and handover activities.
• Identify and resolve technical and programme issues.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety and quality throughout the project.
• Attend and lead project meetings, providing clear progress updates and reporting.
