Job summary

RailwayPeople is seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager for a site-based, long-term rolling contract in Banbury. You will be contractor‑side, with strong electrical experience, overseeing MEP subcontractors, coordinating interfaces, and ensuring readiness and on‑programme delivery.

Key duties include managing pre-construction documentation, site readiness, commissioning support, and resolving practical site issues, with CSCS essential and SMSTS preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have contractor-side MEP project management experience.
• Electrical background preferred.
• Hands-on, on-site MEP delivery experience.
• Experience with BMS and SCADA systems.
• Understanding of commissioning and MEP sequencing.
• Experience managing interfaces between multiple subcontractors.
• CSCS card - essential.
• SMSTS - preferred, but can be worked around.

Responsibilities

• Manage MEP contractor interface and mobilisation readiness.
• Oversee buildability ahead of construction.
• Manage pre-construction documentation and site readiness.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and project elements.
• Monitor progress and keep MEP works on programme.
• Manage sequencing and interfaces across the project.
• Support commissioning and resolve practical site issues.
• Collaborate with the wider project team to deliver MEP outcomes.
