Job summary

Carrington West is recruiting a MEP Project Manager to lead on-site MEP delivery across two buildings on HS2 in Banbury. You will manage the MEP contractor interface, ensure readiness for mobilization, and drive the works to align with programme milestones.

The role requires strong contractor-side MEP experience, electrical background, and knowledge of BMS/SCADA systems. CSCS is essential, with a long-term rolling contract and flexible start date.

Job Description

We're looking for an on-site MEP Project Manager to oversee the delivery and interface of MEP works across two buildings on HS2.

Responsibilities

• Managing the MEP contractor interface, ensuring the subcontractor is ready to mobilise and deliver.
• Overseeing buildability ahead of construction.
• Managing pre-construction documentation and site readiness.
• Coordinating with subcontractors and project elements.
• Monitoring progress and ensuring the MEP works remain on programme.
• Managing sequencing and interfaces across the project.
• Supporting commissioning and resolving practical site issues.
• Working closely with the wider project team to ensure successful MEP delivery.

Requirements

• Strong MEP Project Management experience, must be contractor-side.
• Electrical background preferred.
• Practical, on-site MEP delivery experience.
• Experience with BMS and SCADA systems.
• Understanding of commissioning and MEP sequencing.
• Experience managing interfaces between multiple subcontractors.
• CSCS card - essential.
• SMSTS - preferred, but can be worked around.
