Job summary

GH Engage is seeking an experienced Senior M&E Project Manager / Project Director to lead a major rail infrastructure package in Banbury, delivering on programme, cost, and technical outcomes. You will manage the project team across mechanical and electrical disciplines, with responsibility for client relationships, supplier performance and safety.

The role suits a senior professional from an MEP contractor or Tier 1 environment, able to drive delivery in a complex, multi-disciplinary setting

Qualifications

• Proven track record in senior MEP project delivery on large schemes.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across mechanical and electrical packages.
• Strong client and stakeholder management skills in rail/infrastructure environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the successful delivery of a major MEP package on a rail infrastructure project.
• Manage and develop the project team across engineering, construction and commercial functions.
• Take ownership of programme, budget, quality, health and safety and overall project performance.
• Oversee mechanical and electrical packages from pre-construction through handover.
• Build and maintain relationships with the client, consultants, supply chain and stakeholders.
• Oversee subcontractor performance, procurement and project resourcing.
• Collaborate with commercial teams to manage costs, changes, risks and opportunities.
• Lead project meetings and report to senior management.
• Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies.
• Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture on the project.
