Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an experienced MEP Design Manager to lead design, coordination and delivery of critical mechanical, electrical and public health systems on major data centre projects in the UK.

The role requires a strong background with MEP sub-contractors or main contractors in D&B settings, and hands-on expertise in BIM, coordination with consultants and CSA teams, and delivering designs on time and to budget.

Qualifications

• Degree in Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience for a MEP Sub-Contractor or main contractor in a D&B environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage MEP design from concept through to commissioning and handover.
• Oversee design of critical systems including LV/MV electrical distribution, UPS, cooling, BMS and fire detection.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and CSA teams; review designs and specifications.
• Support procurement and tender submissions; assist during installation and commissioning.
