Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a Behaviour Mentor in Enfield for a full-time, long-term position. Start ASAP at a specialist SEN school, with PAYE pay of £95-£125 per day. The role focuses on supporting pupils with behavioural and additional needs while building positive relationships and promoting emotional regulation.

Experience with SEN, SEMH, Autism, ADHD, and de-escalation is highly desirable. The post offers ongoing support from a dedicated SEND consultant and CPD opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with behavioural and additional needs.
• Build strong, positive relationships with students.
• Provide 1:1 and small-group support.
• Help pupils with emotional regulation.
• Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour.
• Encourage positive engagement with learning.
• Work closely with teachers and pastoral staff.
• Support pupils to develop confidence and independence.

Who We're Looking For

We're keen to hear from Behaviour Mentors, Learning Mentors, SEN TAs, Youth Workers, Support Workers and Pastoral staff with experience working with young people.

Experience with SEN, SEMH, Autism, ADHD, challenging behaviour, de-escalation or emotional regulation would be highly desirable.
