In recent years, there has been a significant focus on supporting the mental health of pupils impacted by adverse childhood experiences. We are currently seeking practitioners to support these pupils on a 1:1 basis for the remainder of the academic year across Northamptonshire, with an option to progress onto a contract with the right school.
As a Youth Mental Health Support Worker, you will support pupils both within the classroom and through activities outside the classroom. You will work alongside the class teacher to ensure appropriate support is in place for the students.
This position is full-time, and comprehensive support and guidance will be provided. There will also be opportunities to undertake additional training during your role.
This role is ideal for individuals with experience supporting pupils in school or alternative settings, but we are also open to considering candidates without this experience. This is an excellent opportunity to secure your ideal role in a school with an immediate start.
