Job summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and flexible Healthcare Support Worker to join our established multi professional team. Rivendell is in the village of Eastry near Sandwich and is one of 6 Rehabilitation Units across Kent, which provides inpatient recovery and rehabilitation for individuals with complex mental health and psychological needs.

Join us to deliver person-centred care under the supervision of the MDT, support 24/7 care, and adhere to health and safety policies.

Qualifications

Level 3 Qualification in Health and Social care or equivalent.
Care Certificate or ability to obtain within 6 months.
Computer literate.
A varied and considerable experience of working within Mental Health/Learning Disabilities setting.
NHS experience desirable.

Responsibilities

Deliver an effective and competent level of care under the guidance and supervision of the MDT and as determined by the patient's care plan.
Be fully aware of the needs of patients over a 24-hour span of care.
Monitor, report and maintain a healthy, safe and secure workplace by knowing and taking account of Health and Safety at Work Act etc.
Professionally accountable to the Head of Nursing.
Operationally accountable to the Matron / Clinical Service Manager.
