Job summary

Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust is seeking a flexible Healthcare Support Worker to join the Rivendell Rehabilitation Unit in Eastry near Sandwich. You will work within an established MDT to deliver person-centred care and support recovery and independence.

The role is based in a 24/7 inpatient setting, with safeguarding and Health and Safety guidance. You will be professionally accountable to the Head of Nursing and operationally to the Matron/Clinical Service Manager,

Responsibilities

• Deliver an effective and competent level of care under the guidance and supervision of the MDT and as determined by the patient’s care plan.
• Be fully aware of the needs of patients over a 24-hour span of care.
• Monitor, report and maintain a healthy, safe and secure workplace by knowing and applying relevant health and safety regulations.
• Professionally accountable to the Head of Nursing.
• Operationally accountable to the Matron / Clinical Service Manager.
