Rethink Mental Illness is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Recovery Worker for Hawkesbury Lodge, Coventry. This 35-hour-per-week, full-time role operates in a 24/7 residential rehabilitation setting, with shift patterns including mornings, afternoons, and night duties.
You will support individuals with daily living activities and recovery-focused programmes, working closely with staff and external partners.
Formación
- Experience supporting people with mental illness or in a social care setting.
- Excellent listening, empathy and communication skills.
- Understanding of recovery-focused practice and risk-aware care.
- Ability to assess needs and develop/monitor support plans.
- Ability to help service users engage in programmes and activities.
- Proven teamwork, organisational skills and IT competency.
Responsabilidades
- Provide one-to-one support as a designated key worker.
- Develop and review care, recovery and safety plans.
- Support service users to achieve personal goals and independence.
- Monitor wellbeing, assess risks, and escalate safeguarding as required.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and community services.
