Job summary

Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust is seeking a Support Time Recovery Worker to join the Mental Health Team covering South West Kent.

You will work within secondary mental health services, promoting recovery and helping service users stay connected with their community, with input from psychologists or occupational therapists.

This band 3 role requires driving licence and a commitment to compassionate, person-centred care, based in Tunbridge Wells.

Qualifications

  • The post holder must hold a full, valid UK driving licence and have access to a car/vehicle to use for business purposes.
  • Please be aware this post does not offer sponsorship as this is a band 3 position.

Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a team that provides secondary mental health services, focusing on the direct needs of service users.
  • Provide support to an allocated group of service users in order to promote their recovery and maintain them in their community environment, helping them to build their own support network.
  • Support service users to identify their needs and to assist clinicians to plan, implement and evaluate individuals care plans.
  • Have the individual service user’s needs at the forefront at all times and support the service user to work towards their identified goals.
  • Use agreed values and skills to underpin day-to-day work.
  • Be actively involved in the delivery of psychology informed interventions.
