Job summary

MindWise is seeking a part-time Mental Health Support Worker for Housing (Floating Support) in the Antrim and Ballymena area. The role offers 20 hours per week with a starting salary of £13,988.27 and requires NISCC registration or eligibility, plus a commitment to MindWise values and shift work including weekends.

You will support people affected by mental health issues to access early help, maintain tenancy and improve quality of life, while promoting health activities and social inclusion

Qualifications

• Level 2 Essential Skills in Maths and English or GCSE Grade C or above in Maths and English
• Minimum 3–6 months recent experience supporting people with a mental illness in paid or voluntary capacity OR minimum 6 months experience in another care setting
• Willing to work various shifts including days, nights, evenings and weekends
• NISCC Registration or eligible from commencement of role
