Job description

We are currently recruiting for mental health support workers for a private mental health hospital based in Preston, supporting adults 18+ with various mental health conditions.

Job Role:

Your role will be to ensure patients can live as independently as possible by assisting with their daily activities when needed.

Job Requirements:

• Experience working with mental health
• DBS check on the update service (Desirable)
• Restraint training such as PMVA, MAPA, CPI, or Maybo
• Minimum of 3 years of references with no gaps
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions

Key Responsibilities:

• Encourage the development of new skills
• Attend appointments with patients
• Assist with day-to-day tasks to promote independence
• Measure and record patients' vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure
