Job description

Mental Health Support Worker, Young People

Location: Heaton, Bolton

Salary: £24,570 - £25,662 (Dependent on Experience) (Pro rata for part-time hours)

Hours: Part Time, 20 hours per week

Essential Requirements of a Healthcare Support Worker
  1. Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and Bank Holidays
  2. Willingness to attend training sessions held on weekdays during employment
  3. Good written skills for reporting and recording information accurately
  4. Basic IT skills for completing forms, using online care systems, and emailing
  5. Effective verbal communication and listening skills
  6. Ability to maintain professional boundaries
  7. Calmness in emergencies and supporting others during difficult situations
Desirable Criteria
  1. Full UK Driving Licence
  2. NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent in Care
  3. Previous experience working with young people with mental health needs
