Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months recent experience in an acute mental health setting in the UK.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Own transport and a valid driving licence are essential.
• Practical Manual Handling and BILD Accredited TMVA training.
• Registered with Social Care Wales.
• Compassionate, reliable, and committed to patient wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Support trained nurses in delivering direct patient care in a mental health setting.
• Observe, monitor, and record patient conditions accurately.
• Provide therapeutic care with dignity, compassion, and honesty.
• Assist with patient rehabilitation and treatment plans.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and staff.
• Follow all health and safety protocols, including manual handling and TMVA procedures.
