Job summary

Suppleo Recruitment Limited is seeking Mental Health Support Workers for immediate start across Cardiff and surrounding areas. Roles include supporting individuals with learning disabilities and mental health conditions, with full training provided.

Shifts of 8, 10, or 12 hours are available in a fast-paced residential setting. You should have at least 3 months UK healthcare experience, be able to obtain an Enhanced DBS, and have the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• A desire to create positive outcomes for adults with mental health issues.
• Empathetic, caring and resilient nature.
• At least 3 months experience in a UK healthcare setting.
• Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one.
• Right to work in the UK.

A number of large, leading Mental Health Hospitals and Homes in Cardiff and surrounding areas are on the hunt for talented Mental Health Support Workers for an immediate start! We have a number of positions available Full and Part Time, which will be for on-going support in the local area.

As a Support Worker you will –

Support individuals with learning disabilities and mental health conditions to lead a good quality of life whilst achieving positive outcomes along the way.
Assist individuals to learn new skills.
Understand medication procedures.
Understand safeguarding policies and procedures.
Work as part of a team of dedicated, qualified and capable staff team who put the people living here at the heart of what we do.
Full Free Training provided to all candidates
8/10/12 hour shifts available

The Candidate:

What you’ll need to be successful as a Mental Health Support Worker
