Job summary

Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust (CNTW) is seeking a Band 6 physiotherapist or a Band 5 ready to develop into Band 6, to deliver specialised assessment and treatment for people with dementia and complex mental health conditions in Northumberland. You will work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver care across community and inpatient settings.

You will contribute to service development, follow evidence-based pathways, and use research, innovation, and quality

Qualifications

• Essential criteria: Recognised Physiotherapy degree qualification or equivalent.
• Essential criteria: State registration with HCPC.
• Essential criteria: Further relevant post qualifying training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist assessment and management and physiotherapy service provision for service users with complex needs.
• Contribute to service development and implementation of evidence-based core pathways in community and inpatient settings.
• Work within a multi-disciplinary team to improve patient care and outcomes.
