A leading non-profit organization in Bury is seeking a Mental Health Housing Navigator to support individuals at risk of homelessness. Creative Support is a non-profit organisation that provides high-quality, person-centred social care services for people with learning disabilities, mental health, and other needs.
We are seeking person-centred individuals who are well-motivated, hardworking, and eager to work with individuals, a range of mental health professionals, and housing providers (both social and private) to source housing or address issues in current housing. The role involves providing advice and guidance on housing and support options, including assistance to locate and resettle into independent tenancies with support from local Mental Health Floating Support Services.
The Mental Health Housing Navigator will collaborate closely with the Homelessness & Housing Options Service and the NHS Access & Crisis Team to identify individuals needing referrals for specialist support.
This is a full-time role (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm) or part-time (minimum 15 hours per week), allowing candidates to work part-time or split the role with their substantive position. A driver is essential.
This is a 12-month contract with the potential for extension.
