Job summary

Cygnet Hospital Kewstoke, located near Weston-super-Mare, is seeking a Care & Support Worker to help deliver compassionate, patient-centered care for adults with mental health needs. You will work 12-hour shifts, supporting daily living, emotional wellbeing and recovery with a multidisciplinary team.

The role involves day and night shifts; pay starts at £13.45 per hour and rises to £13.89 after 18 months. Local community care and therapeutic environment are emphasized.

• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including day and night.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support and emotional wellbeing to service users.
• Collaborate with nurses and therapists to deliver safe, compassionate care.
• Maintain a clean, safe and therapeutic environment for residents.
• Record and report on welfare and medical needs as required.
