Job summary

Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a focused individual to assist in delivering recreational activities for patients on the ward. You will work under a registered Occupational Therapist and contribute to one-to-one and group activities, including creative, social and physical aspects.

The role requires flexibility to cover some evenings and weekends. Experience in mental health and strong communication are highly valued in this position.

Qualifications

• Ideally, experience in mental health and excellent problem solving, communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering recreational activities one-to-one and in group work on the ward.
• Develop intervention pathways and expand support for people with chronic mental health needs.
