Tees, Esk And Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust seeks an experienced Activity Coordinator to plan and deliver activities for clients on Foss Park Hospital, Adult Mental Health Acute wards. The role involves engaging clients and their carers, promoting meaningful activity, and liaising with the care team to reflect individual needs in care plans.

A proactive, compassionate approach is essential to support recovery and well-being.

Formación

• Experience in health and/or social care
• Good communication skills
• Ability to teach or provide training
• Numeracy and Literacy skills at Level 2 or equivalent

Responsabilidades

• Plan and provide activities to meet therapeutic, social and recreational needs of clients
• Engage service users and carers in activities with a compassionate, client-centred approach
• Promote independence and well-being through meaningful activity
• Liaise with clients, multi-disciplinary teams, departments and families to reflect needs in the care plan
• Reflect planned activities in the client's plan of care
• Promote engagement in social interaction and recreation with clients, carers and staff
• Contribute to quality improvement activities
