Job summary

China Fleet Co is seeking a Membership Assistant to deliver excellent service to members and guests, handling membership administration from enquiry through to onboarding and ongoing engagement. You will work closely with the Membership Office Supervisor to process memberships, renewals and changes, maintain accurate records, and support engagement initiatives, events, and communications across the club.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in leisure, hospitality, or membership-based organisations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organised and detail-focused, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Confident in using Microsoft Office and membership database systems.
• Sales awareness and a proactive approach to engaging with members.
• Flexible and adaptable to evenings and weekends; team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Process new memberships, renewals, cancellations, and changes accurately.
• Maintain membership records and databases to high standards.
• Support the customer journey from enquiry to onboarding and ongoing engagement.
• Respond to enquiries in person, by phone and by email promptly.
• Assist with membership tours and welcome materials.
• Support marketing activities to attract and retain members.
