Job summary

JD Gyms is seeking a Membership Experience Manager in Watford. You will drive membership growth, lead community engagement, and represent the brand locally, while collaborating with the General Manager to achieve commercial and operational excellence.

You will be a visible face on the gym floor, welcoming new members, building relationships, and delivering exceptional member experiences to strengthen retention and referrals.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, business development or membership growth.
• Leadership experience within fitness, leisure, hospitality or retail.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Commercial awareness and a target-driven mindset.
• Confidence engaging with new people and representing the JD Gyms brand.
• Passion for fitness and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Driving membership growth through community outreach and lead generation.
• Building corporate partnerships and local business relationships.
• Becoming the face of JD Gyms within Watford.
• Creating local marketing and networking opportunities.
• Delivering exceptional member experiences.
• Driving member retention and referrals.
• Supporting the day-to-day operation of the club.
• Working alongside the General Manager to deliver outstanding commercial and operational performance.
