Job summary

Co-op is seeking a Membership Data Analyst to join our Advanced Insight & Analytics team in Manchester. You’ll turn complex member data into clear insights that inform membership strategy and customer engagement.

You’ll work with stakeholders across the business, apply SQL and Excel skills, and develop data visualisations to tell compelling stories that shape decisions and drive improvements for members and customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in a data analytics role within customer, membership or retail sectors
• Strong SQL skills across multiple data sources
• Advanced Excel with data manipulation and insight generation
• Ability to translate data into clear insights and recommendations for diverse audiences
• Experience creating data visualisations and presenting insights clearly

Responsibilities

• Analyse membership and customer data to answer business questions and provide clear, data-driven recommendations
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business challenges and identify data-driven opportunities
• Source, manipulate and interrogate data from multiple systems to produce reliable analysis and insights
• Use analytical techniques to identify trends and opportunities within customer data
• Support the delivery of regular reporting and ad-hoc analysis across membership and customer engagement
