Basic Salary up to £35,000 dependent on experience plus 25 days holiday, contributory pension scheme, choice of private medical insurance or cash plan

Full Time, Permanent Role 37.5 hours per week

Our client a well-recognised national Financial Services membership body based in the heart of London is currently recruiting a Membership Coordinator to join their team.

The Role

This Financial Services membership body is looking for a highly efficient and proactive self-starter with a passion for sustainability/ social issues, to support and help develop their membership base, working closely on the retention and engagement and enabling all members have the best experience, driving combined goals forward.

This is an exciting new role that will encompass a range of functions with real scope for professional development across multidisciplinary membership development activities.

Key Responsibilities

Maintaining regular contact with current and prospective members with the aim to maximise membership retention and growth.

Providing administrative and relationship management support: arrange virtual and 1-2-1 meetings with members, handle ad-hoc requests and small-scale projects.

Manage the membership email inbox.

Process membership applications.

Help get new members over the line and support their subsequent onboarding.

Updating and managing the CRM database (HubSpot) on a day-to-day basis, ensuring the system provides the data and reporting necessary for effective membership management.

Monitor invoicing, fee payments, and ensure timely payment of membership subscription fees.

The Person

A passion for sustainability, climate change and social issues is essential for this role

Previous experience working in a membership organisation is essential for this role

Experience of working in a membership organisation or stakeholder driven organisation. Experience in supporting or managing diverse stakeholder and client relationships.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate to a variety of audiences at differing levels of seniority.

Strong analytical, administrative and organisational skills.

Good working understanding of industry standard software including MS365/Hubspot.

Can pay attention to detail whilst not allowing speed of work to compromise results.

Able to, and comfortable, with working across a range of functions and activities, at any given point in time.

Experience and knowledge of account management and CRM systems.

Ability to work collaboratively with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
