Job summary

Bannatynes are seeking a dynamic Membership Advisor in Milton Keynes to grow our membership base and deliver exceptional service. The role focuses on tours, sign-ups, and ongoing member engagement within a welcoming gym environment.

You will drive sales, manage sign-ups, and collaborate with fitness and reception teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new members. A proactive, customer-focused attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, customer service or fitness environment is advantageous.
• Degree in sales/marketing or related field is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell memberships through tours, presentations and follow ups with prospective members.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
• Provide a welcoming and informative experience for all potential and new members.
• Handle inquiries, appointments and follow up calls in a professional and timely manner.
• Manage the membership sign up process, including contracts, entering data into the membership system and processing payments.
• Maintain accurate and up to date membership records and ensure confidentiality of member information.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as preparing reports and tracking sales metrics.
• Collaborate with the fitness and customer service teams to ensure a seamless onboarding process for new members.
• Participate in member retention activities, such as welcome calls, and satisfaction surveys, to enhance member engagement and loyalty
• Promote club programs, services and events to current and prospective members.
• Attend weekly video hangouts to discuss KPI performance in absence of a Sales Manager.

Job Title: Membership Advisor

Hours: 40 per week

Rate of Pay: £12.71 per hour

Location: Milton Keynes

A typical day in the life of a Membership Advisor

• Promote and sell memberships through tours, presentations and follow ups with prospective members. Conduct engaging and informative tours of the club, highlighting key features and benefits.

• Provide a welcoming and informative experience for all potential and new members.

It would be advantageous if you had a degree or qualification in sales, marketing or a related field.
