Job summary

State Employees' Credit Union seeks a Member Services Representative to execute branch operations, assist members with accounts, and provide quality referrals to financial services. You will handle cash, process transactions, and educate members on available products.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Demonstrated proficiency in the Assoc MSR role.
• Completed quarterly training courses and other management-required training.
• Completion of Core Module Program within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in account maintenance and opening all account types for new members following MIP procedures.
• Open/maintain tax-advantaged accounts, process wire transfers, redeem savings bonds, and handle foreign currency orders.
• Provide Notary Public services as requested by management.
• Engage with the community by attending events to enhance branch presence.
• Educate members on products/services and offer recommendations based on needs.
• Balance cash drawer and process transactions across service channels.
• Balance vault, ATMs, teller cash dispenser and coin sorter.
• Interact with other departments to fulfill member requests.
• Organize, file and scan documents daily.
• Troubleshoot account issues, cards and online access; process disputes.
• Knowledgeable in CXone; assist MSS as requested.
• Provide referrals for Financial Advisory and Real Estate Services.
