Job summary

Runway East is seeking a hands-on Community Associate to blend customer service with operational excellence across our busy UK sites. You’ll be on your feet, ensuring spaces are welcoming, safe, and well maintained while building real relationships with members and teammates.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm with occasional late finishes for events, and it offers a dynamic, high-touch environment across multiple locations including London, Bristol, Birmingham and Bath.

Qualifications

• Hands-on and gets stuck in, unfazed by physical tasks and prides in a spotless space.
• A natural with people, able to chat with founders and executives and build day-to-day relationships.
• Calm under pressure, able to prioritise and communicate when multiple things go wrong.
• Detail-oriented, notices small issues and acts without being asked.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular cleaning and compliance checks to keep spaces safe, looking great and fully functioning.
• Be the go-to person for members: quick chats, facilities issue handling, and providing a friendly presence.
• Coordinate with the team and stakeholders when things go wrong, calmly and quickly.
• Deliver member events and bring energy to ensure events land successfully.
• Cross-team collaboration with Brighton team and colleagues at other sites (London, Birmingham, Bristol, Bath).
