Job summary

Thames Water seeks an Engineering Delivery Manager to drive a portfolio of capital projects delivering MEICA solutions across wastewater assets. You will manage procurement, planning and resource allocation, ensuring 100% compliance with client specifications while maintaining safety and quality standards.

With a degree in engineering or equivalent, you will lead a small team, coordinate with suppliers, and support programme delivery across multiple sites on a hybrid basis.

Qualifications

• Degree or HND in engineering and/or business administration.
• Understanding of civil engineering works, contract law, planning, estimating and tendering.
• Proven project management in an engineering environment with mechanical, electrical, ICA systems knowledge.
• Experience managing procurement, suppliers and subcontractor supply chains.
• Strong resource management and staff development capabilities.
• Ability to estimate, program and plan project activities to meet client specs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a large portfolio of capital projects with MEICA solutions.
• Ensure safety, quality, contractual specs, and programme deadlines are met.
• Provide estimating, programming and planning support to the team.
• Manage procurement and supply chain for site-based construction.
• Oversee up to 10 staff and key stakeholder interfaces.
• Ensure projects comply with CDM, Health & Safety and HR requirements.
