Job summary

Thames Water Utilities Limited is seeking an Engineering Delivery Manager to drive a portfolio of MEICA-focused capital projects across Crawley, Earlswood, Esher or Guildford on a hybrid basis. You will manage procurement, coordinate site activities, and lead project engineers to deliver compliant, on-time solutions.

The role requires a commercial mindset with engineering and contractual knowledge, plus the ability to travel across the region and manage up to 10 staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial and technical roles with engineering project management.
• Understanding of civil engineering works, contracts, planning, estimating and tendering.
• Proven track record of managing engineering projects with multi-discipline interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a large portfolio of capital projects with MEICA solutions for utilities assets.
• Manage procurement, framework suppliers and subcontractor supply chain for site works.
• Directly oversee resource management and the training of Project Engineers.
• Provide estimating, programming and planning support to the wider team.
• Ensure all construction projects meet program deadlines and client specs.
• Manage site requirements to minimise disruption to operations.
• Deliver projects in line with CDM, Health & Safety, Environmental and HR requirements.
• Lead up to 10 staff and coordinate key internal and external stakeholders.
