Job summary

Village Hotel Reading is seeking a Meetings & Events Sales Coordinator to drive corporate meetings, private events and coworking memberships. You will handle from first enquiry to final contract, blending administrative precision with the charm needed to close deals and ensure events run flawlessly.

You will nurture member relationships, manage monthly payments, and act as the bridge between clients and the hotel floor to deliver on promises. A proactive, people-focused attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or events sales is a plus.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple bookings.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business for Meetings & Events, Local Corporate, and VWorks spaces.
• Manage the complete booking journey from enquiry to contract.
• Administer memberships and monthly payments for VWorks.
• Coordinate all event details with hotel operations to ensure flawless delivery.
