Radisson Blu Hotel Glasgow is seeking a proactive Meetings & Events Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day conference and banqueting operations. You will ensure flawless event execution, manage the setup, and coordinate with sales to meet client expectations and hotel standards.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, organizational, and cost-control skills, with a hands-on approach and a focus on guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in conference and banqueting operations or a similar hospitality management role.

Responsabilités

• Leading the day-to-day operations of the conference and banqueting department to ensure efficient and high-quality event execution
• Managing event setup, breakdown, and service delivery to ensure all events meet client expectations and hotel standards
• Working closely with the sales and events teams to understand event requirements and ensure seamless coordination
• Supervising and training the conference and banqueting team, fostering a high-performance and service-focused culture
• Monitoring and maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service throughout all event spaces
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, food hygiene standards, and licensing laws
• Managing stock, equipment, and inventory to ensure all event materials are readily available
