Job summary

OrganOx is seeking a Software Test Manager to lead testing across Class II/III medical device software, ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance. You will own the CI/CD toolchain, SBOM/SOUP processes, and QA activities while guiding cross-functional teams in a regulated environment.

You will manage a team of test engineers, drive SDLC improvements, and collaborate with regulatory bodies and partners to align testing with quality standards. This on-site role is based in Oxford.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in development, release, and maintenance of safety-critical software.
• Strong SDLC knowledge with agile methodologies and testing strategies.
• Experience with testing frameworks (TDD/BDD) and automation for embedded and application software.
• Familiarity with RTOS, SoCs, HAL, and OTA updates.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards: IEC 62304, ISO 14971, FDA guidance, ISO 13485.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Software Test Engineers, fostering high-performance culture.
• Define and maintain an effective team structure, including roles and responsibilities.
• Oversee CI/CD implementation and its mapping to QMS deliverables.
• Ensure robust software integration tests with cross-functional teams.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation in IoMT-enabled devices.
