Job summary

OrganOx is seeking a Windows Software Manager to lead the design and development of device-hosted software for Windows platforms, ensuring quality, regulatory compliance, and robust GUI/connectivity features for NMP-based organ management solutions.

You will own end-to-end software delivery, drive architecture decisions, and mentor a high-performing team across embedded and host software domains within an on-site Oxford setting.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in development, release and maintenance of Class II/III medical device software or similar safety-critical systems.
• Strong SDLC knowledge with Agile practice and testing strategies.
• Experience with edge-to-cloud architectures and OTA update mechanisms.
• Expertise in C#, C++, and .NET framework for medical software.
• Familiar with RTOS concepts and BSP, UML, and OO design.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for application software on Class II/III medical devices.
• Oversee full SDLC from requirements to maintenance and deployment.
• Ensure compliance with IEC 62304, ISO 13485, FDA guidance and related standards.
• Lead cross-functional teams and manage external technical partners.
• Drive continuous improvement, architecture governance, and risk mitigation.
