Job summary

Matchtech is searching for a Support Engineer to join a rapidly growing MedTech start-up. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide technical support and maintenance for advanced electro-mechanical equipment in hospital environments throughout the UK.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of mechanical, electrical, and software understanding, alongside excellent communication skills to engage confidently with clinical and technical stakeholders.

This position involves regular travel and necessitates a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience supporting electro-mechanical equipment or systems.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, electronics, and software-driven devices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote technical support for electro-mechanical medical equipment.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve faults spanning mechanical, electrical, and software systems.
• Install, commission, and configure equipment at customer sites.
