The successful applicant will be qualified in specialty with experience in providing high quality care for intensive care, high dependency and special care babies and their families.
We are looking for a highly motivated nurse who can develop their managerial skills, supporting junior colleagues and the multi –disciplinary team in decision making and planning. Excellent communication skills and the ability to drive service improvements are essential.

Main duties of the job
As part of the neonatal nursingteam, you willbe responsible for the assessment and delivery of care to sick and preterm babies.You will work in collaboration with parents and carers to promote healthy family bonding,parentand baby relationships. Within the role you will be supported by the Lead nurse and clinical Band 7 team to manage the day to day running of the unit and develop your own leadership and managerial skills. A desire to contribute to a supportive learning environment is imperative.
