An exciting opportunity for an experienced secretary or administrator to join as a part-time Medical Secretary. The role requires working over at least three days, including Tuesday and Thursday afternoons until 5 pm.
Based at the Centre for Women’s Health on the main Royal Devon and Exeter Wonford site, supporting patients and the clinical team of Consultant Gynaecologists/Obstetricians.
Applicants with secretarial or healthcare experience are preferred, but transferable skills from other sectors are welcome.
The role involves working in a busy environment, requiring good team skills, excellent communication, strong organisational and IT skills, and the ability to manage your own caseload independently.
Excellent communication and empathetic telephone manner are essential, as the role involves contact with patients, relatives, and healthcare professionals.
Working Pattern: 3 or more days per week, including Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, with a 5 pm finish.
