The post holder will work closely alongside a multidisciplinary team, including consultant cardiologists, Junior Doctors, clinical nurse specialists, the OPD team, and the Patient Pathway Team to deliver a comprehensive support service for patients requiring interventional Cardiology procedures.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Cardiology Team as a Medical Secretary at Morriston Hospital.
The post holder will support Consultant Cardiologists, Junior Doctors, Nursing staff, and Management. Main duties include typing clinics, procedure notes, reports, and miscellaneous letters; maintaining accurate RTT and FUNB reporting; and ensuring patients are booked for appointments and treatments promptly.
The ideal candidate will be motivated, enthusiastic, and proactive. Effective organisational skills, initiative, and excellent time management are essential, along with the ability to self-organise.
Knowledge of Welsh is desirable; applications from English and Welsh speakers are equally welcome.
