Job Overview

THIS POST IS FIXED TERM/SECONDMENT FOR 12 MONTHS DUE TO FUNDING

We are currently looking for an experienced and proactive Medical Secretary to join the Heart Failure nurses in Glan Clwyd Hospital. The candidate will be enthusiastic and highly motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Main duties of the job

The role involves providing a comprehensive range of secretarial and administrative duties to the Heart Failure Nurses. The position requires someone who is a team player, flexible, organized, and able to work well under pressure. The successful candidate will need to be an experienced typist with excellent communication skills, capable of meeting the demands of a busy environment, and representing the department professionally.

Knowledge of Welsh is desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

  • NVQ Business Administration L3 or equivalent experience
  • RSA/OCR Level 2 or equivalent; proficient in Microsoft Word
