Job summary

The fixed-term rota manager post (12 months) sits in the Medical Imaging team at Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The postholder builds and maintains staff rotas for around 40 consultants, advanced practice sonographers and resident doctors across the acute site and Exeter Nightingale Community Diagnostic Centre.

The role covers leave, sickness, rota gaps and provides administrative support to the management team.

Qualifications

• Strong administrative and rota-coordination experience.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and coordinate medical staff rotas.
• Manage day-to-day staffing, fill rota gaps, arrange cover.
• Record and monitor absences, annual and study leave.
• Provide administrative support to Medical Imaging management team.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies and training.
