The Role

An opportunity has arisen for an Ophthalmic Imaging Technician to join our team within the Medical Photography Service at NHS Lanarkshire.

You will join a team of 19 staff committed to providing a comprehensive Medical Photography, Ophthalmic Photography, and Graphic Design Service across Lanarkshire. The role is based at the University Hospital Wishaw and involves undertaking ophthalmic imaging duties. You will assist in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging for Ophthalmology Services across the organization and may be required to work at more than one hospital site based on service needs.

Applicants should possess an HND in Photography or an equivalent media/imaging qualification, along with proven relevant experience in a healthcare setting. Experience in OCT image capture, Fundus Photography, digital imaging workflows, and using image management systems is advantageous.
