South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust is hiring two Medical Device Technicians to support the coordination, deployment and maintenance of ePCR systems and medical devices across the Trust. Roles require extensive travel and a standard 37.5 hour week with generous holiday entitlements.

You will work to ensure device safety, regulatory compliance and efficient service delivery, with opportunities for development and progression within the Trust.

Qualificações

• HND or degree in electronics/engineering relevant to medical devices.
• Accredited technical training in specialist medical devices.
• Significant fault finding/diagnosis experience in electronic/mechanical/clinical engineering.
• Experience calibrating and servicing medical equipment.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001/13485 quality management systems.

Responsabilidades

• Service, repair and maintain medical devices to ensure safety for patients and staff.
• Coordinate planned preventive maintenance and repairs across a wide spectrum of devices to minimise downtime.

Formação académica

HND in electronic/mechanical/clinical engineering or equivalent

Accredited technical training courses related to specialist medical devices

BEng in electronics or Degree equivalent

Certificate in the Principles of Infection Prevention in Healthcare Settings

Experience in fault finding/diagnosis in electronic/mechanical/clinical engineering

Experience using diagnostic equipment to fault find in medical devices

Experience with calibration of medical equipment

Knowledge of ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 13485:2012 quality management
