Job summary

Randstad Staffing partners with a Bromley FE college to recruit a Specialist Learning Support Assistant for a Level 3 Media programme. This 1:1 role blends media knowledge with person-centred support to help the learner access coursework and develop study skills.

The successful candidate will provide technical, educational and accessibility support, break down concepts and foster independence while following safeguarding guidelines. DBS check is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Media, Journalism or related discipline.
• Minimum Level 2 in English and Maths (or equivalent).
• Empathetic, highly organised, proactive and passionate about SEN learners.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 technical, educational and accessibility support to a Level 3 Media learner.
• Break down complex concepts and support with media tools and software.
• Foster self-advocacy, study skills, and confidence within classroom and college activities.
